We drove an hour and a half today to get up to Innisfree in Milford, NY… farther than we’d normally go, but when Ben suggested Innisfree Garden, it looked so cool, I didn’t actually check how far away it was. Plus, Benjamin was driving up from North Carolina for this session, so I couldn’t complain! Besides, we had an awesome time, it was well worth the drive. Benjamin and Rafaela are a great couple, and Rafaela is definitely a trooper, I must say. I’ve posted a couple of pictures below.
I really value the time we spend during our engagement sessions… I’m definitely looking forward to all of your weddings. And to Rafaela and Benjamin, we’ll see you in July… these shots are awesome and now I can’t wait to get shots of you guys in dress and tux!

Ben and I are so impressed! We adore the pictures and can’t wait to see the rest. We would love to know what your favorite pic is…besides the tongue picture, lol. We had a fabulous time. You made us feel comfortable and special. We are very honored to have worked with you and are counting down the days until we see you on the BIG day!

Awe shucks! You guys were great, and we’re definitely looking forward to your wedding. My favorite pic of these is the first one, because not only do you guys look great, I know I’m standing on a 8 or 9 foot wall to get that shot… I like the second one because that’s the exact shot I wanted, and you gave it to me without me asking. I like all of these because of the great expressions you guys have… very natural… plus these are all pretty much straight out of the camera looking this good with very little editing.
Of course, I like the picture in the archway, because we almost didn’t get that shot… I thought you were giving up, but you stuck it out. Plus I know Keith is behind you with the flash probably saying something funny. Each of these shots were exactly what I was looking for, and they all came out great.
Can’t wait ’til the big day! It’ll be good to see you guys again!

Just curious if you needed permission to do the photo session at Innisfree?
Nope… you’re allowed to take pictures. I suppose if you showed up in a wedding dress and a bridal party they might take issue with that… and perhaps if you brought a big crew or something…
