Katie & Ben: The View on the Hudson, Piermont Wedding Photography

Okay guys, so we posted the quick pic on an earlier blog post… I’m catching up with teaser images… this week was much more hectic that I planned… two engagement sessions, plus recovering from the past weekend’s weddings, plus a couple of meetings with brides and grooms for weddings.  So now I’m coming back to the teasers from Kathleen and Ben’s awesome wedding.  As a father of two girls (a 4 year old and a 2 1/2 year old), I love seeing a great connection between a bride and her dad.  It makes me think of the relationship I currently have with my Maya and Shayla, and it leads me to hope that when they get married that I’ll have just as good of a relationship.  I love some of the images that we captured of Kathleen and her father.  Here’s a couple of images that stand out to me.

As for the wedding overall, everything went great.  It was a great ceremony, we had a lot of fun taking pictures at Kathleen’s parent’s house, as well as at the Lafayette Theatre in Suffern.  The reception at The View on the Hudson was perfect, and even the speeches were flawless.  Seriously, everyone’s speech was funny and poignant and all I wanted to do was take notes for when I have a speech to give.  Oh, and the band… I can’t say enough about the band.  The Blair Reinhard Band… if you want a band, you ought book this one.  Seriously.

Okay, here are more images from the day.  Kathleen and Ben were so sweet together… and their friends were all great.  Enjoy!

-Ryan.
