I’ve known Michelle now for… well, for a very long time. I don’t remember when or where I met her, but let’s just say it was well over 10 years ago. So when she called me up and asked me if I’d be interested in shooting her wedding, I was honored. Keith, Nick, Steve and I spent the day on Sunday with her, capturing her day. We had a great time and it was so nice to see Michelle and Rich so happy. The weather held out (we did a “go away rain” chant to make sure) and we got some great images both during the day and then again after the official wedding was over.

Keith and I had a great time shooting Tracy and Kevin’s wedding this past Saturday. The rain held off and we were able to take pictures outside which, of course, Tracy was looking forward to. The theme for the day was apples… and as Tracy said, “it’s all in the details”… a lot of things were personalized with this wedding… there was even a a piece of tree that had their initials carved in it. And I realized one of the best perks of what we do… golf carts. We had fun riding on the carts to get to various places on the grounds of Rolling Green… and our SPOTLIGHT photobooth was rockin’ as always (with a twist this time that I’ll mention in a future post shortly). Dania and Luke had a great wedding at an awesome venue… Villa Barone Hilltop Manor… we’ve been there already twice this year and we’ll be there again soon… they’ve done some work on the place to create some great picture taking opportunities and it’s really a beautiful venue. We started out the day at the salon, and moved to Dania’s parent’s house for a brief time before heading to the church… we’ve shot at this church before and it’s really unique… I love the stained glass.
We followed up with some time taking pictures at the Villa Barone with their new waterfall… the skies began to look a bit ominous, which just made for some cool pictures. I was joined at this wedding by Steve Two (we’ve already got one Steve… so we needed a way to distinguish new Steve’s that join the group). He did a great job and to see some of the images he took, along with more from me, check out the Small Moments Studios Facebook page… I’ll be putting up more images from this wedding there.
Dania and Luke make such a great couple and it was a pleasure to be with them to shoot their wedding and share their day. Thanks guys!
Alison and Sean are a great couple… I was so happy that we booked them for their Falkirk wedding, only I was slightly upset that I wasn’t going to be the one to shoot it. I had already booked a great couple for the same date. However, we booked this wedding knowing that Keith would be the one to shoot it, and he took along Nick and Steve on his team, along with Brian. Nick and Steve handled the photography for the day and they did a great job, as always. Although I couldn’t be at this wedding because I was having a great time at a wedding of my own, Keith, Nick and Steve told me all about it. I knew this wedding would be awesome, first off, because it was Alison and Sean… secondly, the wedding was taking place at Falkirk, one of our favorite venues. I heard all about how much fun the bridal party was from Keith, and how awesome the hot dog cart was (mmmm, hot dogs…). The best part is that since they had video, I’ll get to watch how the whole day went down.

We shot Krista and Liam’s engagement session a little while ago… such a nice setting in Orange County… we’ve been up to this location before and it’s just always beautiful. This is a very sweet couple and we’re very much looking forward to their wedding coming up at the end of October (at Patriot Hills). So to see more of this really cool couple, check back on the blog in November for the teasers! And we’re doing our SPOTLIGHT photobooth for their wedding, which I KNOW will be awesome… first off, because it always is… and secondly, because this couple is awesome. Did I mention that already?
Richard and Star had a beautiful wedding at Sinapi’s Ceola Manor in Westchester. It’s right on the water in a beautiful gazebo… the weather for the ceremony was perfect, and the reception that followed was great. This is one venue that knows how to throw a party! And I love a wedding venue that has beautiful grounds so that you don’t need to travel anywhere for pictures… not that I mind the travel, but it does eat up time on a wedding day.
Richard and Star are both awesome… and the bridal party was lots of fun. Here are some images from Richard and Star’s wedding in our ROCK STAR slideshow… as it was said during one of the speeches, this is truly a perfect couple. They are so sweet together!

Jo-Anne and Joe are getting married next year. We’ve got a while until their wedding, but we wanted to take some pictures for their save-the-date cards, so we decided to have a quick engagement session to get some suitable images. It was great to get an opportunity to meet with Jo-Anne and Joe and to spend a little time with them. You can see some of their teaser images below! We’re definitely looking forward to their May 2012 wedding!

Alison and Sean are getting married this coming weekend at Falkirk and we always love shooting weddings there. We’ll be shooting photo and video this weekend for Alison and Sean’s wedding. It’ll be me along with Nick and Steve and Brian, and Ryan will be shooting a separate wedding as well. Alison and Sean are a fun couple and we had a great time shooting their engagement images. During the engagement session, Ryan caught a picture of me working, so I returned the favor by getting a shot of him on the ground getting their shoes.
