We had such an amazing time filming Sean & Alison’s wedding. Incredible couple with an equally amazing group of family and friends. It was not only an absolute pleasure capturing their wedding day, it was also wonderful getting to know them and watching their personalities shine. I not only get to capture moments and memories, but the experience of each and every wedding is surely lasting and makes me eagerly await the next. Thank you Sean & Alison for letting me share your day with you.

Starting off the year with an awesome St. Patty’s Day wedding at our favorite venue.  The Falkirk Estate and Country Club had changed a little since we were there last (for our last wedding of the 2011 season three months ago).  They’ve installed a great new waterfall… personally I’m thinking it’ll look best at night… very cool and moody… Nick and I shot a couple of images there before we left.

Oh, and we started off the day with one of our favorite hair/make-up artists… Nicole always does a great job, and it was great to see her back again after having her baby!   (Look for a post coming up in the next couple of weeks regarding hair/make-up along with some of our recommendations).

So Erin and Ron and all of their friends really know how to party.  It was definitely a fun day as they made sure we had enough time to go to the farmhouse on the Falkirk grounds… and it was definitely a fun night… the SPOTLIGHT photobooth was rockin’, and Victor Vargas had the music pumping and the dance floor grooving all night.  I promise to post a couple of pictures in a separate entry specifically about DJs along with some images of Vargas brothers in action… which was quite impressive.

Congratulations again to Erin and Ron!  And great to see the whole gang… Beauty by Nicole and Victor Vargas along with Arlette, Matthew and Jennifer from Falkirk!  What an awesome way to start the 2012 wedding season!

This weather has been so tricky… no snow for engagement sessions… I went hiking with my wife in February, which we never get to do.  So I’m just going to pretend that winter is done… and the first sign of spring for me was today’s engagement session.  I’m definitely looking forward to being back at Patriot Hills in May for James and Pam’s wedding… and it was good to be back at Bear Mountain shooting this engagement session.  It was a little chilly, but James and Pam were troopers!

So here are some teasers… I had a lot of fun, and hopefully they did too.  They’re a great couple and I’m very much looking forward to the party at their wedding!

Big congratulations to Keith on his engagement!  Yes, one of the Small Moments Studios team is getting married.  Of course, the venue is Falkirk… would we pick anything other?  It is such a perfect location.  Personally, I’ve known Keith since elementary school, so it’s exciting to see him getting married.  We did an engagement session so that he and Marissa would be able to send out save the date cards… here’s a quick teaser image of Keith and his bride-to-be!  Check back late fall for more images from Keith and Marissa’s big day!
