We first met Jaclyn at a wedding for Jamie and Russ last year, and we were honored that they chose Small Moments Studios to capture their wedding memories in photographs and in video as well. First of all, Catlin Gardens in Slate Hill, NY is absolutely beautiful. The water, the flowers, the bridges, oh my. Incredibly picturesque and a perfect setting for Jaclyn and Ryan’s wedding day. I had the privilege of capturing their day along with Nick, Brian and Steve 3 (Yup, our company has 3 Steves). An intimate ceremony followed by a booming reception helped make for quite a memorable event. They are such a great couple!
We hope to do more weddings at Catlin Gardens in the future, but more than that… we wish Jaclyn and Ryan much happiness and a bright future together.

Michele and Joey held there wedding in the Nyack Seaport in Rockland County. Of course, being as our studio is based in Suffern, we love Nyack Seaport weddings… we got down to the water after stopping at The New Jersey Botanical Gardens. Tara and Brian rock! Such a fun couple and fun bridal party. The wedding was at Patriot Hills in Stony Point, which we shoot at a lot and it’s a great venue. Keith and I shot this wedding together… and here is their Rock Star slideshow of some of our favorite images from their wedding!

Such a great day at Jess and Jason’s wedding at the New York Country Club… I love the connection they had and the love from family and friends. It all came together for an awesome wedding. It’s no secret that we love a wedding at the Falkirk Estate and Country Club in Central Valley. We love it even more when we’ve got enough time scheduled in the day to get us to the barn at Falkirk. Christina and Michael had a beautiful day for a wedding. Steve, Steve 2 (we have 3 Steves… we collect them.) and Mike joined me for this great wedding as we were shooting photos and video. We started at the bride’s parent’s house and then after a lovely ceremony at the church, we headed to the reception at Marina Del Rey in The Bronx. At one point we considered going to a local park, but I’m glad we decided to go right to the location. Marina del Rey has a number of great areas to take pictures at, so we saved some time and stress and still got great images.
We rocked the SPOTLIGHT photobooth all night long as well. That’s always a major hit. Great bridal party, tons of fun on the dance floor, it was a great night truly. Check out some teaser images below!

Sometimes I feel like a broken record saying, “It was so great working with <insert name of couple here>, but I’ve had the pleasure of working with so many wonderful couples that I think it’s something worth repeating. Joe and Jo-Anne were no exception. They were a fun couple with a fantastic bridal party. After the ceremony we went to Monmouth College for some pictures and video. WOW! That place had some amazing architecture! We could’ve stayed there all day. The reception was booming. The music never stopped and the crowd made sure to take up every inch of the dance floor. Brian and I got some great dance footage while Nick and Steve 3 (we’re collecting awesome Steves) were photographing the action. We all had a blast. Congratulations to Joe and Jo-Anne.
