Chrissy & Dan: The View On The Hudson Wedding Photography (Piermont, NY)
We had a great time shooting Chrissy and Dan’s wedding at the always lovely View On The Hudson in Piermont, NY. Deanna and Rochelle from LaBella Salon were on the scene in the morning for hair and makeup, doing a great job and keeping everything on schedule… which is so important on the wedding day! Chrissy and Dan are big football fans, so we had to get a shot with an actual football… so if you’re wondering what you’re looking at in the ring shot, now you know. :)
We love shooting by the water with the view of the hudson river. Here are some teaser images from their big day!
Enjoy!

Jenny & Raj: Rockland County Wedding Photography
This was a beautiful backyard wedding ceremony for Jenny and Raj in Blauvelt, NY… this was a bit last minute (and when I say a bit, I mean extremely last minute) but we were happy to lend a hand and be a part of this beautiful wedding celebration. This wedding was complete with two different ceremonies and it was all very touching. Keith shot the majority of the day, as I had to head over to an engagement session that we already had scheduled, but we both enjoyed the opportunity to shoot this fun couple. This was all being streamed live to family around the world, which was pretty cool. Oh, and she asked for a shoe shot at the end of the night, and I was, of course, happy to oblige.
Here are some teasers of the day!

Falkirk Estate and Country Club Wedding Photography: Kelly and Stephen
Okay, last official wedding of the year was at… Falkirk, of course! The grounds were beautiful, and it was great to see our friends there. Colleen did a great job of running the show, and with Terrence, Jessica, and of course, Kimmy and everyone else on staff, the wedding went smoothly. For me, it was the perfect end of the year wedding, and it was the best start to a wedding I think I’ve ever had. I attribute that to Kelly and Stephen getting me a bag of provisions… they know how much I love beef jerky and coke, so they had everything I needed ready for me… along with some entenmann’s cookies. Check out the picture on our facebook page.
So for the teasers, this time around, I’m doing something a little different. I decided, since it’s the end of the year, I’m going to do one image here on the blog, and then showcase more in depth images on the Small Moments Studios facebook page. Therefore, I’m going to add a couple of pictures each day this week for each section of the day. So, I’m starting off with the morning preparations, then another day I’ll post the first look pictures, then the ceremony, then some formal shots, then some dancing, some couple shots, etc. This way you get to see a little more in depth on each of the sections of the day. That way I can show more than just one shot of the ceremony or of dancing, but I can show a couple without making the blog post too long.
So, if you want to see more, then check back on the blog later on today and we’ll have the first section of the day up. And if you’re not a fan of the facebook page, maybe click ‘like’ while you’re over there. And realize that the last images that we’ll put up will be the ones from the SPOTLIGHT photobooth, which truly rocked. So… check back throughout the week this week and we’ll have more and more images to show you.
For now, here’s one quick one… a favorite of mine, shot right after they kissed and were leaving the ceremony area… the grounds at Falkirk look awesome and Kelly and Stephen look so beautiful and happy. And for those of you photographers out there, this image is straight out of camera… no editing done to it.
Enjoy, and see you all here later for more teasers from this weekend’s engagement sessions… plus see you on the facebook page for more from Kelly and Stephen’s wedding!

Falkirk Estate and Country Club Wedding Photography: David and Daiana
David and Daiana had an excellent wedding at our favorite venue, the Falkirk Estate and Country Club. David started off the day by going out and playing a couple of holes of golf while Daiana prepared back at the hotel with a team from Amanda Munro hair and makeup. As David waited patiently by the barn, Daiana rode to Falkirk in comfort and style sitting in a McLaren… very impressive. We had some fun at the barn before heading over to the main Falkirk building. The ceremony outside on the grounds was beautiful and shooting the formal images by the waterfall always makes for great shots.
Two of my favorite images involve the flower girls… I happened to catch the two of them looking out of a window earlier in the day, and then at one point, the littlest flower girl went over and grabbed the back of Daiana’s bride, as if she was going help hold the train.
I had a great time shooting this wedding along side Nick, with our full video crew, Keith and Steve… we captured a lot of great images… here are some of our favorites from the day! Oh, and become a fan on facebook and we’ll be posting more images later this week!
Congratulations again, David and Daiana!
Enjoy.
Falkirk Estate and Country Club Wedding Photography: Erica and Dan
…back to back weddings at Falkirk Estate and Country Club in Central Valley… first up, Erica and Dan. If you want to check out their engagement images, you can click to go to their engagement post. I remember having such a great time with them at their session that I knew their wedding would be even better. Oh, and I should point out that hair and makeup was by Amanda Munro. And I should point out that Erica loves her ‘68 mustang… a very cool car. Keith and I truly had a great time shooting this wedding. At one point Keith pointed off to the side and we see a bunch of the bridesmaids on a golf cart zooming by with some other girls running along side. Keith ran over and got an awesome shot of them coming back after their joyride…
More blog posts coming shortly… enjoy!

Glen Island Country Club Wedding Photography (New Rochelle): Sal and Joey
This has been a great couple of weeks… I was privileged and excited to see my good friend from elementary school, Keith, get married… and the week following I was again privileged and honored to shoot the wedding of a friend from Junior High School. Joey has known Keith and I since sometime in Junior High School… seeing him again after all these years (since high school), it was great to see how happy he is and how in love with Sal he is.
This wedding was very cool, start to finish… and we met up with Joey’s cousin Binu… Binu is also an old friend and we shot his wedding the year before. Interesting traditions, an awesome couple, and a spectacular view at an amazing venue… check out the teasers below from Sal and Joey’s wedding! Keith, Nick and Mike Gong and Brian were along for the day… and we had the Spotlight photobooth running, which was an awesome addition.
Enjoy!

Falkirk Estate and Country Club Wedding Photography: Keith and Marissa!
Keith and Marissa got married! Yes, Keith… Keith Keith… Small Moments Studios Keith. I’ve known Keith since elementary school, so it was especially great to be a part of his big day. These past 8 years I’ve been involved with hundreds of weddings, first as a wedding officiant, then as a photographer. This wedding was fun because I was able to write the ceremony and have it performed by my father (who is a great wedding officiant as well). Plus I got to be a part of shooting the day… but the Small Moments Studios crew was doing most of the heavy lifting, as I was also attending this wedding with my wife and kids. Nick, Steve and Brian handled a lot of the work, though I was shooting throughout the day. And Keith, of course, was simply enjoying his day.
The wedding took place at our favorite venue, The Falkirk Estate and Country Club… and Marissa’s make up was done by one of our favorite makeup artists around… Christine from Color Make-up Studio. She is always awesome, very cool and always keeps everyone beautiful and on time. She is highly recommended by us because she always leaves brides looking natural and fabulous… bringing out your natural beauty and that shows in all the images for the day.
So the day went great, 100%. The ceremony went very nicely, and Keith and Marissa did a great job of writing their vows… very personal and touching. And of course the ceremony I wrote was pretty good, if I do say so myself. We managed to get some subtle references to The Blues Brothers and The Princess Bride in ceremony, which made me happy, and made both Keith and Marissa smile. We had a lot of fun all day long, and I even got up and gave a speech. On top of all that I got to boogie down with my wife and kids, and Keith got to boogie down with his wife for the first time. Plus, Steve and I got our “Kid ‘n’ Play” dance goin’ on… so it was all good. And of course, we had the Spotlight photobooth rockin’ the party as well.
Check the facebook page, as we’ll be adding some more images there that don’t make this blog post. Meanwhile, enjoy! And I’m sure I speak for all of our brides and grooms when I say “Congratulations to Keith and Marissa!”
Enjoy!

Villa Barone Hilltop Manor, Mahopac NY Wedding Photographer: Christina and Terrence
What a great couple, what a great day. When we showed up, one of the first things Christina said was “Clouds, Ryan… we got happy little clouds.” As you can see from the teaser images below, those clouds were pretty darn happy.
We love shooting at the Villa Barone Hilltop Manor, and we especially love a couple like Christina and Terrence, because they made sure we had plenty of time for pictures. The staff at the Villa Barone did a great job as always… the food was perfect and the Viennese hour was filled with fantastic treats.
We had a great time with Christina and Terrence… congratulations, guys! Here are some teasers of your day!
Enjoy!

Villa Barone Wedding Photography (Bronx, NY): Donna and Greg
We had an awesome time with Donna and Greg at their wedding… everyone at the wedding had so much fun. If you don’t believe us, check out the Small Moments Studios Facebook page and check out teasers from the SPOTLIGHT photobooth. And we know that Donna had a great time because she told us so… she also said ” Thank you for keeping us smiling, we felt so comfortable in your hands!”
Check out the images below for teasers from their wedding day. Oh, and I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that the always fabulous Christine from Color Make-up Studio was there… because she totally rocks. Never had a wedding run late when Christine was in charge of hair and makeup… and the brides she works on always look stunning.
Be well!
