Every photography package that we offer comes with an engagement session. This allows us to spend some time together so that when your wedding day comes, it won’t be the first time we work together. We get to find out how you both interact, how you handle being in front of the camera, and what types of pictures you like. You get to learn more about us and our personalities and how we work. More importantly it helps develop trust and confidence for your wedding day.
Pictures that we take during the engagement sessions can be used for different purposes. For instance, you might want to have a custom sign-in book with your pictures inside for your wedding day. Frame some and put them on your walls… give them as gifts to your parents… you might also want to have pictures on display at your venue during the cocktail hour. You can place a matted picture up at your venue as a signing board. Another option is to use one or more pictures in a save the date card. At the very least it’ll give you great pictures for facebook!
The location for your engagement session can be someplace meaningful, like a park you like to visit, or some place fun like New York City. We can discuss different ideas to find the best place for your session. Wherever we end up, it’s important for you both to have fun and relax. The key is your connection more than anything else.
In the picture above, Kim and Brian picked a location that had meaning to them and we were having so much fun that even though it was freezing out, their love and connection was clearly evident.
