This past weekend I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding that I cannot tell you anything about. Everything about this wedding was top secret and even the bride didn’t know all of the details until the last minute. The only information I can divulge (until June sometime) is that I had a great time, the bride and groom were awesome, the partying was great and that Keith got the picture below of David Tutera and I. For those of you who know who David Tutera is, that’s a hint as to why it’s all secret!
So as I can’t show you any pictures revealing any details, I CAN show you some pictures that don’t reveal anything. The only pictures I have that don’t show any decor or lighting or the bride’s dress, etc., were taken at the end of the night. For the last half hour of the night I started shooting using a new technique… it’s more fun and different than anything else. Call it a caricature, call it cool, call it odd. Scott Jarvie, the guy who formalized the set-up calls it a Jarvie Window. Not sure what I’d call it, but it sure is fun. It was definitely a hit with the guests.
Check out the pictures. Let me know what you think! If you’re getting our Spotlight photobooth this year, we’ll add these types of pictures on as well if you like. Sort of a study in contrasts.
Anyway, enjoy the fun party pictures. To the guests that attended, if I got you in “The Ring”, and your picture isn’t here, it might have shown something in the background that I couldn’t legally show yet. Sorry! Highlights from the whole wedding will be up in June hopefully when we’re allowed to divulge. And don’t forget to let us know what you think! And yes, the last three images are David Tutera, Keith and I.
Be well.
-Ryan.
David Tutera, party planner of the stars!!! That is really awesome..
Ryan, Really cool! I’ve been looking at this face in the mirror for 50 years and I never thought my nose was so BIG! It does however give me fabulous cheekbones ;->
Ha, check out Keith’s nose… now THAT is big. 🙂 Don’t worry… it’s a function of the fisheye lens used. It distorts the picture to varying degrees depending on distance and angle… but that’s part of the fun!
Glad you like it! Can’t wait until I can post the other pictures. Maybe we can arrange a family slideshow to show off the pictures in person rather than on the online site… your place? I’ll bring the projector and the screen…
Very Very Kool!!!! Cant wait to see the rest of the photos. I bet they are great!! 😀
