I always love when I have the opportunity to shoot a wedding for someone I know and I’ve known Lynda now since she was a bridesmaid at Brianne’s wedding years ago. She was also a bridesmaid at Ashley’s wedding… and we saw her again at Allison’s wedding. And on top of that, Lynda is a photographer herself… it’s always an honor to be asked to shoot a wedding for a fellow photographer. So, I’ve been looking forward to shooting this wedding for a long time!
Eric is a great guy and I’m so happy for them that they’ve found each other. You can clearly see the connection that these two have. Keith and I shot their engagement session, which was a lot of fun, and we knew that the wedding would be great, and of course, it was.
We started the day in Yonkers while the bride prepared. It was great to arrive and have so many people there that we know. Keith and I were greeted like family. Lynda wanted to do a first look, but they didn’t want to see each other, so we managed to get a shot of the two of them holding hands around a corner. They were able to talk for a minute, but they couldn’t see each other. It was such a sweet moment. The beautiful ceremony took place at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in The Bronx which is such a beautiful church. From there we went over to Verona Park near the Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange, NJ… after spending some time walking around the park, we headed over to the Wilshire for the rockin’ reception. Nick and I were photographing the day while Keith and Steve were filming. And on top of that, everyone enjoyed our award-winning photobooth at the reception. We’ll have some images from the booth up soon.
Congratulations again to my fellow photographer Lynda… and her handsome husband Eric. Enjoy some teasers below!
